Helping those without

HIMALAYAN LEARNING

Himalayan Learning is the latest organization I have sponsored with.

It took some time to be allocated my children as the organisers were in Nepal at the time.
Since they have returned I have found contact with the organizers to be great.
I am happy to say that I now have two beautiful girls Buddhi who is 14 and Rakshya who is 10.

These girls cost 20 UK pound a year each to sponsor plus they have an online store where I can purchase items for the girls.
The account is set up online so I can see what I have purchased throughout the year.

The 20 pound covers

School fees
Uniform and footwear
Books and stationary
Bag
Underwear
Extreme weather kit
Health Kit
Dental kit
Graduation fund
School fund
Community fund
Health fund
Personal Login
Letters to you!

I will write more about the organisation as time goes by.

I have purchased for the origional two girls a jumper, jacket and chook (chicken) each and will do so with the others a little later.

One of the schools in Nepal that Himalayan Learning helps.

Update 2008

I still sponsor both girls here and am happy with the large amount my small sponsorship purchases these children.

Oliver visited Nepal late last year and returned with photos and letters from all the children.  Correspondence is not the greatest due to the children being in such remote areas.  I send the odd card and letter but never expect anything in return.
