This is a new organisation for me and I am very excited about it.
You have two options of sponsorship, TEP which costs $10USA per month and covers the child's education expenses or Orphan which is $37USA per month and pays for the child to reside in an orphanage.
So far I only sponsor for TEP but who knows where the future leads.
There are a choice of countries Indonesia (Bali, Jakarta, Medan, Sumatra, Aceh) Thailand and Kenya.
I have chosen 3 girls from Bali purely because Bali is so close to Australia and airflights are cheap and I hope to be able to visit and maybe stay and volunteer for a few weeks with the organisation there.
I have also chosen one in Thailand as this is a stopover for our trips to India and Sri Lanka and while we are stopping over we can extend the stay and go visit the orphanage in Thailand.
I started Sponsoring these Children on the 20th Feb 2008 and sent them an introductory letter. By the 25th Feb I had received a letter from 2 of my girls in Bali along with a photo of each girl and their letter.
The letters can be emailed and they emailed the girls letters back to me along with a translation and the photos.
